Carisa Hettich is the Executive Director of the Southwest Oregon Chapter. Her responsibilities include engaging with business, government, school and community groups promoting the 5 lines of service of the Red Cross (Disaster Response, Training Services, Blood Services, Services to the Armed Forces, and International) within a 11-county area in SW Oregon. Carisa has worked for the Red Cross for 10 years, of which 5 years in her current role. Carisa also spent time in development and volunteer management with other nonprofit organizations and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador. She has a Masters’ degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Carisa is a board member with the Eugene Delta Rotary Club and graduated from the 2017 Eugene/Springfield and 2018 Medford Chamber Leadership programs. She was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska but the Pacific Northwest is now home for her family who loves to fly fish, camp, and hike. Carisa lives in Eugene with her husband Bala, daughter Anneliese and two Blue Heelers.
